Hello all, it’s been a pretty interesting time, hasn’t it? Plot twists and turns, revelations, and exposure. We have been learning about what’s going on with us. Maybe we had been deluding ourselves with something seductive? Maybe we had bought into an illusion, and the reality was not what we thought it was? Maybe we are in our mess, and deeply needed to face and heal what we were trying to avoid at all costs. Maybe we just needed to stop and rest and recalibrate?
Hopefully this Pisces energy brought us blessings and healing. We were confronted with some things that needed to float away. We are emerging from the deep.Â
Venus is retrograde, and I didn’t give that enough press, and ultimately we are all in a process of reassessing our attachments, our preferences, and what we pull into our world. With the 18 months of the nodal axis asking us to figure who we really are, innately, even though we are in relationship to others, Venus retrograde in Aries is punctuating the whole point. When Venus goes retrograde, it causes us to reassess our finances, our connections, and our values. When this happens in Aries there’s a bit of looking at our ego, and how we see ourselves, and what we are attracting. This is tough work, and everyone is going through it.
This is the same work that might have started around this time in 2017- the last time Venus went retrograde in Aries. I remember– with clarity– the big download I got related to a certain type of woman I attract and bring into my life. And now here we are again, I’m in the same lesson. Learning, understanding, realising. This is my pattern, my lesson, and I’m the one who keeps repeating it. And so it goes…
This is the magic of astrology and how understanding the patterns can help you learn the lesson. Or at least help you be conscious of your subconscious drivers and choices.Â
Sometimes it feels like life is living me.
Mercury also went into Aries last week, which made communication clearer, more blunt, and cut to the chase. Our thoughts and ideas are unfiltered, raw, and emergent. And we are in the shadow of the retrograde here too.Â
It’s really an interesting point in time because Mars, the ruler of Aries, and the energy of action, was retrograde, and went direct and has been slowly stationing forward in Cancer. We have been thinking about our desires, and where we put our energy, and where that energy is kept safe. What we want may have changed, and it’s been hard to move forward as Mars is still slow. But Mars will speed up few weeks, and spike our energy while we are rethinking and reassessing our values, connections, and communications.

On Tuesday March 11th Mercury and Venus RX conjoin in Aries to really drive this idea of identity, your wild self, and what you attract. Your values, your way of thinking, and your communication will be working together to serve your identity. This energy will be quick, brash, courageous, and you may find yourself making some personal headway with something or someone.Â
Relationships and finances might have some reckoning, realization, or recalibration from an individual standpoint. It’s a good day to take responsibility, and that will make this individuation process a little easier.
On Wednesday March 12th, Sun conjunct Saturn in Pisces and this will bestow a deep lesson about responsibility and commitment. So again, taking responsibility for what has occurred, and where you are. What should come to conscious awareness is your spiritual imperative– your why.
Nothing comes easy with Saturn, he gives us boundaries, deadlines, and more work to do. Spiritually, this shows us where we are at, and tethers us to what we must continue to do. There may be losses, or something may have to dissolve. We might have to give something up.Â
But maybe it’s time to double down and commit? Maybe we have the insight and we are ready to commit to the big dream? Maybe we are picking up the pieces of what is left, and all that is left is the way forward, and it’s going to be hard work. We are becoming conscious of the work we have to do. But also, maybe now we are less confused about it.
On Thursday March 13th we have a Full Moon South Node Eclipse. Something is coming to its full culmination here and there is this idea of our past karmic inclinations here. This is a break in the structure, and a dissolution of an old paradigm. There is some overarching chaos that will ensue, because we are releasing something that does not serve, and Virgo likes order, categorization, and is here to practically serve humanity. It’s wound tightly because it’s keeping it together and with this fullness, we might come to a threshold of release.
Things speed up in eclipse portals, so whatever comes about, whatever tilts your whirl, movement is definitely in the works. This Full Moon is opposed by a parade of energy in Pisces, so there’s this idea of an unravelling. Take note of what comes up for you, what you might be letting go of, and what has come to its full fruition in terms of your practical life.
Friday March 14th is fully planted in eclipse season and the ruler of the the eclipse– Mercury, will station retrograde, but not before we get a beautiful trine between Pisces Sun and Taurus Uranus. Uranus bestows a flash of insight and change for us that will help us as we work through the changes in front of us. Mercury will go over all that territory, since Mercury entered its shadow at the end of last month, so any miscommunications, missed connections, and mistakes will help us sharpen our innate thought processes. There is a cerebral vibe to the day, even though the energy will resound in our intuition, and physical circumstances, there is a lot to think about, process, and understand. Â
Venus remains in retrograde to ask us if we are valuing the right people, places, things. Mars is speeding up to put energy into what nurtures us, what keeps us safe. Mercury is backtracking to understand what’s going on. There’s lots to unpack, and while there’s speed to the eclipse portal, retrograde planets are slowing down the tempo to make us discern. This rebirth is especially tough, as we have to balance the old and the new. What are we bringing into the new world, and what must go?
